L'incontro del 4 settembre 2010 tra GAIMS e IRO è stato inserito nell'annuario delle attività svolte dalla IRO stessa.

"To raise the level of awareness of IRO in Italy, the Hundesportgruppe GAIMS from Arezzo-Siena organised an IRO Presentation on the 4th September 2010.

Roughly 30 Dog Handlers and persons responsible from various groups based in Tuscany and also from nearby regions attended the presentation. In the morning the IRO was presented through a PowerPoint Presentation by A. Laner.
After a short break the Testing Standards were explained in great detail and in the afternoon the practical part with Dexterity and Obedience took place on the dog sport training area. The partici-pants were very interested and many were interested in becoming a member of the IRO. The Group GAIMS is now organising an 8 month course with one meeting a month, including all details for dogs and humans, rubble search, radio communications, rope technique and so on and above all about the dog work! At the close of this course, an IRO Testing Event is planned to take place."
